Welcome Home, Scooter, Our Six Pound Pup!

Scooter was such a "light-weight" when he became a  member of our family, that he even made a carton of  Lilies of the Valley look like enormous shrubs barely contain themselves as they stood ready to be planted in an open cardboard box!

That fuzzy little fella was so teeny he could not lift himself over the threshold (behind him) and enter our kitchen door.   "M,m,m,...",  he would mew, like a kitten, to be let inside.

Steve or I would gently kneel down, and  tuck our fingers around his warm belly.  Then, ever so carefully, we'd lift that Corgi's quivering self over the landing.  Aw, he fit right in the palm of our hands.

Oh joy! Scooter was free to scoot through our yellow house, once again! And off he went.  "Steve, Did you hear that?  That was Scooter's noisy clomp, clomp, clomping feet under him!"  I gasped.

And, startled, we said in unison, "What is Scooter up to now?"
